Restaurateur Asad Sheikh native of Bombay since 2014 has opened multiple locations like Bombay Street Food, Butter Chicken Company, Curry mantra, 1947, throughout the DC metro area, is gearing up to open his next concept. London Curry House (1301 U Street NW, Washington, DC) will feature and celebrate the most popular Indian dishes, typically found and beloved in London.
London Curry House has a different menu from Sheikh’s other establishments.
There will also be many Vegan and Vegetarian options, include Saag Panir (spinach and cottage cheese), Daal Makni (whole black lentils), and Chana Masala (chickpeas).
As explained by Sheikh “ London is one of my favorite cities in the world, with so many authentic curry houses located every other block. Their curries have more heat and spice than those typically found at American Indian restaurants. At London Curry House, Washingtonians will get a taste of what London curries have to offer.”
